Silver Bullet Review

We're here at Knotts Berry Farm. After getting in the typical B&M seats, you turn out of the station and then climb the lifthill. As you climb the lifthill, you get a great view of Knotts Berry Farm in all directions since you're in the center of the park. When you crest the lifthill, you realize that you're pretty high off the ground. Unfortunetly, the first drop is not as big as it looks. You gradually accelerate as you go down the ever so steep first drop. After 5 seconds, you are finally at the bottom of the first drop. Then you soar into a vertical loop. You do get some nice hangtime in the loop as you go head over heels. Then after the loop, you go straight into the best part of the ride. The over banked turn. It's a fun element because it tosses you sideways. Although it's not an inversion, it's still awsome. Then you gracefully soar into a cobra roll. You see the park entrance turn upsidedown as you smoothly twist to the left and then twist to the right. You then exit the cobra roll and head straight for the biggest dissapointment of the ride. The Heartline Spin. Unlike any other heartline spin, this one has absolutely no whip to it at all!!!! You crawl through it. Ok, now to be fair, its getting more whip as the ride ages on, but its still a pretty damn weak B&M Heartline Spin. Aflter slugging through that heartline spin, you go into a turn around the station. The turn isn't amazing by any means, but its still pretty fun. Then you go into a corkscrew. While the corkscrew doesn't whip you through them like Kumba does, its actually got some whip to it. Then you go into a little hill that doesn't provide any airtime. Then you go into a corkscrew that's identical to the one you just went through. Then comes another great part of the ride. THE HELIX!!! You roar through this part of the ride like there's no tomorrow (At least it feels that way compared to how slow you travel through the rest of the layout). While it's not quite as forceful as Top Gun's ending helix over water, it's still pretty good. After that, you head straight into the brake run. While the ride may be not be one of B&M's best rides, it's still a fun ride and I would recommend it if you have never ridden it before. And I will say this. Every single year, Silver Bullet only continues to get better and better. So just keep waiting. =)
