Mission Falls Photos We're here at South Bay Shores, part of California's Great America, where we'll be reveiwing Down Under Thunder. This is essentially the parks half pipe. Ok, time for the review. After climbing up the stairs, you reach the top, get your tube, and sit a while. Seriously, the operations on this thing are dreadful. Eventually, the lifeguard pushes a button, and you slide on down. WEE!!! We slide on down, and head straight up into the half pipe. It's fun and all, but it's not nearly as good as Stealth at SunSplash. Then you head over a bump and actaully slide onto a landing strip. Yeah, unlike most half pipes, you don't get plopped into a pool here. So yeah, it's another Half Pipe. Not the best of its kind, but an overall fun water slide. I recommend riding this if you're at South Bay Shores.
